Food Review:  I decided to mix it up this morning and do Thursday's meal on Wednesday and vice versa.  I have blogged about this meal at www.kimwoodward.org/kwoodward/diet/2009/11/05/091105-breakfast-plus-exercise.  I think that I will also change out the dinner and the lunch menu, probably reverse them. 

Time to talk about vitamins and mineral supplements

I take a mixture of vitamin and mineral supplements each and every day.  There are reasons for all of them which I will try to go into as I introduce them.  I am listing these because I need a list for when I go in for my physical on Friday.

Food Review:  As I have said before, the blueberry muffins on this diet are really good!  It was interesting having the raspberry preserves though.  But that was a nice touch.  Organic yogurt was by Stonyfield and of course is very tasty. 

One Meal and the Whole Diet Turns On Its Ear

I seem to be gaining weight like it's going out of style.  I was a bit mistified about the source of the weight gain until I realized that there was probably a whole lot of salt in the food on Thanksgiving.  On Thanksgiving, I ate the DTG breakfast for the day, had a plate and a quarter (small seconds) of the Thanksgiving meal, then for dinner I had a bag of carrots and grapes.  My weight curve went all over the place.  The only variable in the equation was the Thanksgiving meal that I had.  Hard to believe that one meal would cause this much agony.&

  • rotary arm - 2 sets each 100 # and 10 reps backwards and forwards
  • rotary leg - 2 sets each at 10 reps and 110 # forward leg motion and backward leg motion
  • curl bar - 2 sets 10 reps and 30 # bicep curls
  • curl bar - 2 sets 10 reps and 30 # tricep overhead curls
  • tricep cable pulldown - 2 sets 10 reps and 45#
  • crunch machine - 2 sets 12 reps and 145 #
  • hyperextension - 1 set 12 reps no weight
  • 20 min on treadmill - 2.9 speed and 5.5 incline
DietToGo Meal:
  • Omlet Pomodoro, Sicilion Asparagus Cuts & Tips

Food Review:  The omlet pomodoro was excellent.  There was a bed of spinach and cheese along with the sauce over the top of the egg omlet.  Very tasty overall.  The sicilion asparagus was done very well.  I was a little concerned because of the Tips, but there were no parts that you couldn't chew in the mix. 

091126 - Breakfast with Exercise (Cinammon Raisin Bagel, Cream Cheese, Orange Juice, French Vanilla Organic Yogurt)

Food Review:  I am always a fan of cinammon rasin bagels so this was a no brainer in the taste department.  I did have a plain bagel in a previous breakfast so this is new.  The French Vanilla Yogurt was very good.  I decided to eat the DTG breakfast for Thanksgiving and then just play it by ear for the noon meal and dinner since this is Thanksgiving day.
