Some Days ...

Some days are a little like the guy who jumps off of the ten story building. As he passes the fifth floor he says, "so far, so good."

The Stupidist Thing in the World

image809068090.jpgOk guess what is really dumb today? Give up? It's the picture of someone taking your picture. To make it more geeky, here is a picture of my website on my website. Funny? Ok, go back to your coffee.

Joe Muggs coffee, not bad ...

I am at the Potomic Mills Books a Million sitting in the coffeeclutch, called Joe Muggs. I am drinking a cup of Dark Roast and it is not really bad coffee. I am a Maxwell House coffee drinker from the get go. That means that fru-fru coffee is not my thing. I would do this again. Maybe in comparison the coffee at my local Barnes and Noble is a little better, but not by much.

Cold is more Reasonable this Morning

Well, didn't get much sleep last night, but at least my nose isn't running so bad today. I am still hacking and do not feel 100% myself. Today is another opportunity to excel - but at a more subdued pace.

I feel terrible!

This is almost like the flu. Everything that I have tried today has not helped. I think I might just hit the sack when I get home, even though I have tons of stuff I need to finish. I am wondering if I have what my daughter and Son in law had?

Crappy Head Cold Popped Up Yesterday

I am sitting here at work trying to decide if I should go home. I just got here. It is obvious that the cold that popped up yesterday afternoon is a result of the increase in temperature and it's accompanying pollen. When I took some Alevert last night just before going to my Tai Chi class, the running nose pretty much stopped. Both my daughter and her husband came down with something over the weekend, probably allergies as well. The antihistamine reaction was a giveaway that my cold is an alergic reaction. I am just about to take another Alevert but I may wait a little longer. Anyway, it's a great day to be alive - the Lord is still in control and my eyes are fixed on Him.

Decided to go offline on Facebook

This may seem a little strange but I am only going to lurk on Facebook for a while.  I have found myself too caught up in looking at my facebook app to find out what people are doing. I have other things that I need to be doing, not the least of which is keeping this blog site up and running. I am not totally dependent on my cell phone but it sometimes seems that way.  Time to take a breather and use it for a cell phone if you know what I mean. I also turned off the RSS lister on my wall so that none of the posts to this blog would show up there.  I am also shutting down a lot of the access to my wall from individuals outside of my friends list - just to be on the safe side.  Interesting, maybe I'm becoming shy again.
